Tanga region has today launched its business centre christened Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan Business Cetre at the Kange area.
It was launched by Tanzania’s Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa.
Tanga is the end point for the expected EACOP, or the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, which is a 1,443 km pipeline that will transport crude oil from Kabaale, Hoima, Uganda to the Chongoleani peninsula, near Tanga Port, Tanzania.
This is expected to open up more business opportunities in the city.
