Fintech startup NALA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CRDB Bank which will enable people in the diaspora use the platform to send money through the bank.
Tanzania’s High Commissioner of Tanzania Mbelwa Kairuki congratulated the 2 companies on his X handle, noting that NALA had been instrumental in enabling remmitances ffrom abroad into Tanzania.
NALA is an African payments company and money transfer app that enables users to make secure and reliable payments from Europe, the UK and US to Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Ghana in seconds.
Last year, it launched in the European Union (EU), adding 19 new countries to its list of send countries and aiding its mission of connecting Africans globally.
NALA’s mission is to build strong payment networks in Africa, and a signal of their intention to continue investing in Rwanda, given the country’s position as a global hub for business and investment.
